The grille opens to 180°, allowing for easy filter changes, and snaps securely closed. The hinges and catches are completely concealed, eliminating the need to match hardware colors.
A sturdy metal filter housing is pre-installed behind the frame, creating a clean, gap-free compartment for most standard filters. The door and frame feature sturdy double dowel construction typically found in finer furniture and cabinetry. Each louver is mechanically reinforced into its own mortise for extra-long life and rattle-free performance.
Three distinct profiles are available to compliment your home's trim. The standard square edge provides a crisp, clean look or can serve as a blank slate to be trimmed out on site. The half-round style offers a softer look and features a half-round bead appliquéing around the grille, and a quarter-round eased edge around the frame. The ogee edge style gives the grille a more intricate appearance, with a frame profile and appliquéing reminiscent of quality crown molding.
